Through a manufacturing process of heating, curving, and rapidly cooling the glass, curved tempered glass is 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass and can be used in applications requiring safety glazing and structural glazing. Curved Heat-Strengthened glass is also available. Heat-strengthened glass is 2 times as strong as annealed glass. While not a safety glazing product, it is used in applications requiring additional strength for load specifications or applications and glass types requiring thermal absorption resistance.
State-of-the-art technology provides high-quality optics with minimal distortion and strict radial tolerances.
Tempered curved glass can be manufactured as a tempered/laminated product, or combined in an insulated unit for increased thermal and solar performance.
The result of our company’s development work has come with several significant innovations like the bending methods applied to demanding spherical, conical, and parabolic glasses.
Thanks to our state-of-the-art glass bending machine, AJJ can redefine possibilities by offering a tempered curved glass of impressive dimensions, reaching up to 3600mm in arc length and 18000mm in height depending on the glass makeup, coatings, and bending geometry.

Architectural – 4mm to 12mm Grade ‘A’ safety glass manufactured to AS/NZS 2208-1996 Safety glazing materials in buildings and 15mm to 19mm Toughened glass.
The Australian/New Zealand standard for safety glazing materials assesses the impact resistance of tempered glass. It classifies glass based on the drop height required to break it and provides guidelines for its use in different applications.
